About Me
Writing about myself does not come
naturally, so I'll start out simple and see where this goes.
I'm a down to earth gal who loves to knit, bargain shop and learn new stuff. I'm not the biggest "people person" since I'm pretty introverted, but I like to be around nice people. People who are snobs, phonies, cocky, arrogant, disloyal and untrustworthy are severe allergens for me, so I avoid them like the plague!!
Where Am I From and What Do I Do ... etc?
I'm from the United States and grew up in Baltimore. I've been to public school, boarding school and graduated from college too. Unfortunately, I'm not well travelled; in fact I've never left the east coast. Places I've lived include Maryland and Massachusetts; and places I've been are New York, Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey and Quebec. Most of my time is spent at work as an office assistance, counting the hours until quittin' time to have fun with knitting, martial arts and just plain hanging out.
I have two cats: Ocelot and Vera. I've had Ocelot since 1997, when he was just a wee little kitten. He spends most of his time lounging and meowing. He's such a sweetheart. Many people wonder why I named him Ocelot. The reason is quite simple. He looked like a miniature Ocelot
when was a kitten. It's funny though; he looks nothing like one now! Here is a picture of him taking a little break from his hard feline life.
Vera is still little tyke; I picked her up in June 2008 when she just 8 weeks old. Only a few name possibilities came to mind, Vera just seemed to stick more than any of the others. She likes to play ... a lot, and hardly ever sleeps. Here she is going for an afternoon stroll on a beautiful day.

It took some coaching, hissing and growling to come this, but I think they are on the right track to brother/sisterhood.
Did I Miss Anything?
As you can probably tell, I ran out of things to say. So let me know if I've missed anything.
